At One Rating, we believe that reviews should help you decide what to play or watch without the noise of sponsored deals or advance access strings. We use a simple 1–10 scale and break down our scores so you can see whether your tastes align with ours.

For games, we aim to play through the full campaign or a representative slice before publishing a review. For movies, we only write up our thoughts after we have seen the film. We do not share scores or conclusions with publishers or studios before release, and we buy or access our own copies whenever possible.

We focus on what matters to European readers: regional release dates, pricing in local currency, localisation, and any EU-specific cuts or content. Our goal is to be transparent about how we work so you can trust our opinions and use them to make better choices.

If you have questions about our process or want to suggest something for review, you can reach out via our contact page. We are a small team, but we take every suggestion seriously and aim to cover a mix of blockbusters and indies across games and film.
