⭐ 8/10

I finally watched The Passenger and I have to say I really enjoyed it. It’s not the kind of horror movie that throws a jump scare at you every five minutes. Instead, it slowly builds tension and keeps you feeling uncomfortable from beginning to end.

The story starts with a simple idea, but it quickly turns into something much darker. I liked how the movie didn’t rush anything. It took its time to create suspense, and that made the scary moments much more effective. There were several scenes where I genuinely didn’t know what was going to happen next.

One of my favorite things about this movie was the atmosphere. The empty roads, the darkness, and the feeling that something is always watching made every scene feel tense. It constantly gave me the feeling that the characters were never truly safe.

The performances were solid, and I believed the emotions of the main characters. Their reactions felt natural, which made the story even more immersive. I also liked that the movie didn’t rely only on cheap jump scares. When they happened, they actually worked because the tension had already been built.

The creature design was creepy without being overused. Sometimes what you don’t fully see is much scarier than something that’s constantly on screen, and I think this movie understood that really well.

That being said, I don’t think the movie is perfect. The final act wasn’t as strong as the beginning, and I was hoping for a bigger payoff. I also wish they had explained a little more about what was happening. Even so, it didn’t ruin the experience for me.

Overall, I think The Passenger is a very enjoyable horror movie. It may not reinvent the genre, but it delivers suspense, creepy moments, and a great atmosphere from start to finish. If you’re into slow-burn horror with supernatural elements, I definitely think it’s worth watching.

Final Rating: 8/10 ⭐
