Best starting for Trials Series
The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel is set in the Erebonian Empire, Zemuria’s largest and most powerful nation developed by Nihon Falcom.

The story centers on Rean, a young swordsman from a rural background, who enrolls as a freshman in a Military Academy in the scenic town of Trista, where he is placed in Class VII, which is an experimental class blending students with different backgrounds.
Trails of Cold Steel is a turn-based game with a lot of story to unfold and schemes to be discovered by the players. As an older game from the time of this article’s release and the current date, this game is set to introduce most of the new players to a new journey.
The Trails series has a total of 13 main entries, and for most players, this is a challenging start, not to mention that almost all games require around 40+ hours to complete .

This is where the game starts , every classmate has a backstory and you can bond with each of them . Bonding with your classmates will make the links stronger, which enable a flashy team attacks in battles.
The ARCUS obment system implemented in the game is decent and easy to understand. This is where you can mix CRAFTS (Physical attacks ) and ARTS ( Magical attacks ) together to get the best out of your party.
There are also S-Crafts, which are special attacks for each member of the team that are cinematic finishes.

If you love persona style social sims, then I do believe that Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel I is the best entry to the series if you are planning to play the entire series.
