Longlegs is not loud horror. It doesn’t scream at you. It doesn’t throw jump scares every five minutes. It just makes you uncomfortable.
From the beginning, there’s this cold feeling that something is wrong. The tension builds slowly, but it never disappears. Even in the quiet scenes, you feel it. What I liked most is the atmosphere. It’s heavy, controlled, and serious. The movie doesn’t try to overexplain everything, and I respect that. The performance of the killer is what really makes it disturbing. It’s not exaggerated. It’s not dramatic. It’s just… wrong. In a way that stays with you. It feels like more than just a crime story. There’s something darker underneath it, something almost spiritual or ritualistic. That’s what makes it stand out from a regular serial killer movie. It’s not perfect. I think it could have pushed a little further in some moments. But overall, it works.
It didn’t shock me like a 10/10 would.
But it definitely kept me tense.

Disturbing, controlled, and genuinely unsettling. This is just my opinion. If you felt differently, feel free to comment and share your take.
