A major Hollywood studio has confirmed that its upcoming blockbuster sequel will open in European cinemas on the same date as the North American release. The move is part of a wider strategy to align global release windows and reduce piracy while maximising opening weekend figures.

European territories will receive the film in both dubbed and subtitled versions, with IMAX and premium large-format screenings available in key cities. The studio has also committed to day-and-date streaming availability in select EU markets where theatrical exclusivity windows have been renegotiated.

Cinema chains across the UK, Germany, France, Spain, and Italy have already listed the title for advance booking. Pricing and special events, such as fan screenings and early access showings, will vary by country and operator. We will round up EU release details and any regional differences as they are confirmed.

This kind of coordinated rollout has become more common for tentpole releases, and European audiences have repeatedly shown strong turnout when release dates are aligned. Expect further announcements on cast visits and local premieres in the coming months.
