I really wanted to like this movie. I did.
But in the end, it just didn’t fully work for me.
It’s not terrible. It’s not bad. It’s just forgettable. The atmosphere is dark and serious, and you can see the effort behind it. Visually, it looks solid. The world feels bleak and heavy. But the pacing is slow, and not in a gripping “slow burn” way. It drags in places where it should build tension.
I kept waiting for a strong moment. A scene that really hits. Something memorable. But most of it felt flat. The characters are fine, but I never felt emotionally invested. Even when big things happen, the impact isn’t as strong as it should be. It feels like the movie wants to expand the universe and go deeper, but it forgets to keep the audience engaged while doing it. It’s not a disaster. It’s just not exciting.
